He himself climbs 8c's and he really understands how to get the best out of his students. My friends and I had great fun and we learned a lot. It was really great! We didn't have a lot of experience but they knew exactly which routes to take us so we had a lot of fun. I will be going back next year!Hande KJuly 10, 2019.We learned a lot! We did a 5 days climbing course with Loukas and Kostas. We had some indoors climbing experience before. But this was our first outdoors climbing experience. Loukas tailored the course based on our experience and level. He taught us exactly what we needed to know in order to climb outdoors safely. It was one of the best experiences we had. We were learning a lot about climbing and about the island. After the course, we were knowledgeable and confident enough - to travel around the island to find the best sectors to climb, - to climb without the presence of teachers or guides, - to climb routes higher levels than we were climbing in the gyms, - to fall and take falls safely, - to enjoy a lot the whole process. We owe all these to Loukas and Kostas. Thanks a lot!! We had the best 2 days of climbing with them. They made us to push our limits as far as Loucas saw we could go. Che sia per un giorno o una settimana o anche più, il team di Loukas è semplicemente fantastico. Abbiamo arrampicato con Lukas, con Spiros, con Alexandra e con Vaio in vari posti sull'isola e sempre hanno saputo farci sentire perfettamente a nostro agio. Sanno adattare il corso al livello e alle esigenze e aspirazioni di chi hanno di fronte; hanno una pazienza infinita e un'esperienza incredibile; sono estremamente professionali e aggiornatissimi. Si può andare con la propria attrezzatura; ma se non si ha nulla ti mettono a disposizione tutto, dagli scarpini al casco, dall'imbracatura ai rinvii. Seguono le persone con grande serietà, mai più di due "corsisti" per istruttore. Ti vengono anche a prendere in hotel se necessario. E il costo a persona è molto concorrenziale rispetto ad altre scuole o presunte tali che operano sull'isola. Un unico consiglio. Prenotate per tempo se volete avere la loro disponibilità.Paolo FAugust 19, 2017.Unforgettable experience I spent 7 days training as intermediate climber with Loukas and his assistants and I just want to say that it has been one the best experience I have ever had in my entire life. Kalymnos is a real paradise for climbers and Loukas is the best guide to really enjoy the experience with absolute safety and professionality. He is a master of climbing, he knows every single route and rocks on the island and so it lets you climbing in total controll with a guide that it is always there to give you the best advice to improve your climbing skills. All his team is composed of really professional climbers, they have all the gear you need, so if you are a real novice or even a child they will let you enjoy the climbing experience in absolute safety explaining all the basic knowledge of this incredible sport. We were climbing with Loukas, Alexandra an Vayos. We were enjoying the time with them a lot and felt very secure. They were very patient with our kids. All equipment was provided by them and they picked us up at our apartment.
